Profhilo®** is an innovative injectable treatment that uses hyaluronic acid to address skin laxity and rejuvenate the skin. Unlike dermal fillers, it acts through a process called bio-remodelling, which hydrates and lifts the skin. Profhilo® stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin tone, texture, and overall radiance.
During the treatment, Profhilo® is injected at five specific points on each side of the face or neck. The procedure is relatively quick, with minimal discomfort – no numbing cream is required. Post-treatment, you may notice small bumps at the injection sites, which usually subside within 24 hours. Some redness, swelling, or bruising is normal but typically resolves quickly.
The effects of Profhilo® typically last between 6 to 9 months, depending on individual skin characteristics and lifestyle. For optimal results, it is recommended to have two treatments spaced one month apart, with a potential third session one-two months after the second treatment if necessary. The effects of Profhilo generally last up to six months. For maintenance, the two-dose course can be repeated every six months, or a single dose can be administered every three months, aligning perfectly with timing of anti-wrinkle refresh treatments
